Binance NFTs Marketplace has announced its partnership with Russia-based State Hermitage<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/medieval-art-to-be-tokenized-via-binance-and-russian-museum"> Museum</a> in a bid to launch tokenized artworks from some of the world’s most renowned artists from Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Leonardo da Vinci among others.
<h2><strong>Major Art Museum Partners With Binance NFTs Marketplace</strong></h2>
It seems like the non-fungible token (NFT) metaverse is not just limited to the pixelated images of rocks or CryptoPunks. Classical and renaissance artworks too seemed to have jumped on the NFT bandwagon with works of Vincent Van Gogh, Monet, and Leonardo da Vinci launching as NFT pieces.

On Aug 30, Binance NFT marketplace <a href="https://www.binance.com/en/support/announcement/2bebd933495c4fe6aac535a5b2f27bf8" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">announced</a> a partnership with Saint Petersburg-based museum State Hermitage Museum to launch a premium line of NFT collections based on some of the world’s finest masterpieces.

State Hermitage Museum is one of the world’s largest museums in the world dating back to 1764 when Catherine the Great purchased a big collection of Western European paintings.

Titled “Your token is kept in the Hermitage,” the collection comprises a total of five NFTs based on the digital reproductions of the “The Madonna and Child” by Leonardo da Vinci, “Judith” by Giorgione, “Lilac Bush” by Vincent Van Gogh, “Composition VII” by Wassily Kandinsky, and “Corner of the Garden at Montgeron” by Claude Monet.

The auction starts today from 12:00 PM (UTC) to 7 September at 12:00 PM (UTC), each with a starting bid of 10,000 BUSD or $10,000. Winners will have their NFTs dropped onto their Binance wallet within 14 days after the end of the auction.

In an announcement made earlier in July, the State Hermitage Museum revealed that each digital copy is personally signed by Mikhail Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage. At the time, he said:

This is an important stage in the development of the relationship between a person and money, a person and a thing.”</em></blockquote>
