Blockchain.com, one of the world's largest cryptocurrency companies, and the Dallas Cowboys, an American football team based in Texas, have announced a partnership, marking the first time a cryptocurrency company has been associated with an NFL team. 

This announcement comes less than a month after the NFL announced that blockchain sponsorships would be now permitted for clubs. Clubs may now collaborate with crypto exchanges, wallet providers, and NFT platforms.

Among the benefits of being the Dallas Cowboys' exclusive digital asset partner are club space for the crypto company inside AT&amp;T Stadium, rights to social/digital integrations, highly visible signage within the stadium bowl, as well a significant amount of television, radio, and digital advertising. 

Additionally, considerable branding, advertising, content, and event possibilities will be included in the agreement.

While announcing the partnership at a press conference this morning in the Dallas Cowboys headquarters, Jerry Jones, the owner and president, expressed his pride in the team for becoming the first team in the NFL to sign an official cryptocurrency partnership and hoped that Blockchain.com would help the football team connect with its fans both virtually and online. Jones said,

"We take pride in being the first team in the NFL to sign an official cryptocurrency partnership, and are proud to venture into this innovative business with Blockchain.com," .

Blockchain.com CEO Peter Smith believes that the partnership represents a significant step forward in increasing crypto use and knowledge, particularly within the larger Dallas Cowboys community. Blockchain.com will be running a special promotion to get Cowboys fans excited about the sponsorship deal. Fans who sign up with their email address and make a purchase of $100 or more in cryptocurrency during the next week will get a $50 cryptocurrency bonus.
