The co-founder and chief executive officer of BRD Adam Traidman recently in an <a href="https://cointelegraph.com/news/brds-ceo-dismissed-crypto-until-overhearing-andreessen-horowitz-execs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> shared his personal crypto story and how he went onto develop a <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/best-hardware-wallet-for-cryptocurrency-in-2020" target="_blank" rel="noopener">popular crypto wallet</a>. He developed the BRD wallet in 2015 which was earlier known as Breadwallet, and soon after its launch it became quite popular in the US and developing nations such as Venezuela.
<h2>Adam Traidman Doubtful About Bitcoin</h2>
Traidman also revealed that he was very sceptical about the mainstream adoption of Bitcoin, but later after overhearing the Andreessen Horowitz executives’ discussion on Bitcoin, he realized the true potential of the king coin.

He further stated that in the initial year of his career, he was a computer chip designer, who later in the year 2013 became the CEO of the company. Traidman claimed that when the Apple Watch and the Samsung Gear was not launched also, since then his company has been working on a weight-loss wearable device.

The CEO of BRD then said, during that same time one of his former employees asked him to start a Bitcoin company in partnership.

Initially, Traidman was not convinced by his former employee’s suggestion and said that people use Bitcoin for sinful activities. Since then Traidman did not talk to his former employee Aaron for a year.

Since 20 years, Traidman has been working as an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley and after discussion, with Aaron, he started working on his company’s wearable device.

But when he went to pitch that device to Andreessen Horowitz, Traidman listen to a discussion on Bitcoin.

He said, “That was when Andreessen had funded Coinbase. And I thought, son of a gun, these are some of the smartest guys in the Valley, if they think there is something to this, then maybe my friend isn’t so crazy after all”.

After that, he got back in touch with Aaron and asked about Bitcoin. Aaron while explaining everything about it said that when compared to the Internet, Bitcoin will emerge as a bigger invention than the World Wide Web.

Later, Traidman along with Aaron developed a company which is now famously known as BRD.
