February 28, 2020      Shailesh Panwar

Yesterday, Bitmain, a mining rig manufacturer from China, declared the release of two new Antminer models under S19 series that processed within the range of 95 to 110 TH/s. This model from Bitmain with 29 joules per terahash (J/TH) and 110TH/s was 24 trillion hashes per second quicker than the latest Whatsminer M30S model from Microbt, which had the speed of 86TH/s.

Bitmain Provides the S19 Series Processing Up to 110 TH/S

Bitmain, a significant mining rig manufacturer, has unrevealed two latest mining rigs that possessed a substantial terahash capability. Yesterday, Bitmain declared to launch the Antminer S19 series on its official Twitter account and recorded mining rigs that had the hash rates within under a range between 95 to 110TH/s.

Bitmain’s website showed the machines presently possessed an unrevealed shipping date. Also, the Bitmain’s website stated the dates were to be fixed. The two variants of S19 could not be bought just yet either. The absence of a recognized shipping date might have occurred due to the stall in Chinese shipments worldwide that had impacted several bitcoin mining rig manufacturers from China. The website provided an image of the two mining rigs together with the specs as well.

Specification About The Mining Rigs

The two mining rigs which Bitmain provided made use of the SHA256 consensus algorithm (BSV, BTC, BCH) and was set to 110TH/s. A single unit had an efficiency rating of 29 J/TH and drew 3250W off the wall. The S19 Pro seemed much bigger than the typical mining rig and weighed around 15.5kg. The model’s lower part weighed about 16.5kg and pulled a similar amount of wattage from the wall.
