A consortium consisting of <a href="https://coinshares.co.uk/">CoinShares</a>, Europe’s major data asset manager, Blockchain, world’s most popular wallet, and MKS, part of the most trusted Gold group worldwide; today announced the launch of DGLD network with more than $20M in gold in tokens.
Moreover, DGLD is a token representing allocated physical gold which is stored in a Swiss vault. A side-chain built on the Bitcoin Blockchain digitizes the gold. DGLD is a digital proof of ownership of allocated gold. The token leverages the power and immutability of the Bitcoin network to improve the convenience of purchasing gold independent of physical gold ownership.
In addition, each DGLD token is equivalent of 1/10th of a troy ounce of gold in a Swiss vault.
