<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/?p=51390&amp;preview=true&amp;preview_id=51390">Nigel Green</a>, CEO and founder of DeVere Group, has <a href="https://news.bitcoin.com/devere-group-ceo-bitcoin-can-replace-gold/">forecasted</a> that the upcoming 2020 U.S. Presidential election would bolster the price of bitcoin. During his interview with the financial broadcast MoneyFM on Monday, September 28, Green said he also believes that bitcoin will replace gold as the ultimate financial safe-haven within the timespan of a generation.

He believes that the U.S. presidential election would have devastating effects on the U.S. dollar, but will also bolster bitcoin at the same time. People’s trust in the government has reduced over time, which led to an increase in interest in Bitcoin.
<h2>Bitcoin As Top Safe-Haven For Youth</h2>
DeVere Group's CEO continuously noted that there was a strong prevalence of the youth being more geared towards bitcoin than gold. He is in his sixties and still believes that storing digital currencies is easier and safer than storing precious metals.

He also remarked the fact that flooding the market with extra dollars can devalue the money. The advantage of bitcoin is that there is a limited amount available in the crypto market. Some people would rather a computer keep score, and some people would not have faith in their government and they would rather have something where there’s a limited amount.
<h2>Price Standard for Bitcoin And Ethereum </h2>
Green’s forecast about the crypto asset during the interview with the broadcast MoneyFM was prompted by the Singapore Exchange (SGX). SGX added two new crypto indexes in order to create a price standard for Bitcoin and Ethereum throughout Asia.

During his interview, he said, “So that’s what we’ve seen over a number years and just gradually more and more acceptance from people. Bitcoin is similar to gold, as so much as gold is limited, and obviously, young people are more willing to accept a digital currency than perhaps some older people.”
