A day after making an offer to <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/elon-musk-makes-his-best-and-final-offer-to-buy-all-of-twitter/">buy</a> 100% of Twitter, Elon Musk spoke at the TED 2022 conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, and explained what changes he would like to implement on the social media platform if he takes over the company. Among the various suggestions, Elon Musk told curator Chris Anderson that he would consider modifying the platform's approach to controversial and problematic content, including tweets by crypto scam bots. Musk said,
<blockquote>“A top priority I would have is eliminating the spam and scam bots and the bot armies that are on Twitter,” .</blockquote>
Musk explained that scam bots are extremely rampant on the microblogging site, and used an interesting analogy to prove his point.

Musk also laid out what other changes he would like to make to improve the Twitter user experience, including open-sourcing the social media algorithm and making it more transparent.

Any changes to people’s tweets if they’re emphasised or de-emphasised – that action should be made apparent … so there’s no sort of behind-the-scenes manipulation, either algorithmically or manually”</blockquote>
Musk is the biggest shareholder in Twitter with over 9% of the stake. Recently, he was offered a seat on the company's board of directors before he reversed his decision. Later, he offered to buy the whole company for a total of $43 billion deal.
