American soccer club Inter Miami FC has signed a jersey sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency firm XBTO. The jersey partnership signals increased acceptance of crypto in the sports world.
<h2>Inter Miami Signs Jersey Sponsorship Deal With XBTO</h2>
Players from Inter Miami FC will wear jerseys featuring the XBTO logo after the crypto firm signed a sponsorship deal with the club. The soccer team, one of the 27 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS), had recently earned a playoff position after beating Toronto FC in a wild match.

The sponsorship is one of the biggest deals in MLS so far, and also the first crypto-related partnership in the league. It is also an indicator of crypto’s growing influence in the sports industry, where teams and players have found new revenue streams and fan engagement channels via digital assets. 

With a crypto-supporting Mayor, Miami has been making considerable progress with crypto entrepreneurs and businesses. Back in June, Sam Bankman-Fried’s crypto exchange FTX signed a  $135 million naming deal for Miami Heat’s home court, which is now known as the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/miami-dade-county-arena-to-be-renamed-as-the-ftx-arena/">FTX Arena</a>. More recently, the city’s commissioners voted to accept $4.3 million generated by MiamiCoin -- a cryptocurrency by CityCoins Inc -- for local development projects. 

According to <a href="https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/article254235813.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Miami Herald</a>, Inter Miami team will debut the XBTO logo shirts on Friday, during their match against the New York Red Bulls.
<h2>XBTO Advancing Crypto Beyond Digital Asset Industry</h2>
Several crypto businesses are diversifying their endorsements to bring more visibility to the burgeoning asset class. XBTO is also using the same strategy to spread the word around and reach beyond the confines of the digital asset industry.
