The announcement revealed that the Tangle network will be integrated by SUSEE and it will link thousands of sensors to make sure that the distribution of energy is resource-efficient.

SUSEE stands for Secure Sensor Platforms for Smart Energy Networks and it is multi-lateral research and development alliance that involves the energy distribution network operator SWO Netz GmbH. They are the researchers from Fraunhover and Chemnitz universities, peerOS GmbH, mCloud Systems GmbH, and TIP GmbH enterprises, as well as the non-profit IOTA Foundation.

It has been revealed that Tangle will be used to facilitate the information transfers between the sensors that are responsible for sending information to plenty of end-users.
