Japan’s financial services company Tokai Tokyo Financial Holdings is to invest 500 million yen (about $ 4.6 Million) in the Japanese branch of Huobi. Huobi is the cryptocurrency exchange company based in Singapore.

According to the report, the investment is part of a larger collaboration where Tokai Tokyo will acquire shares in Huobi. The investment will take place in January 2020. The financial services firm will use the partnership to promote crypto management, crypto exchange, initial exchange offerings, etc. the firm also aims to use crypto assets and the technologies to develop new businesses for corporate as well as individual clients. It will also consider offering financial services and expertise to regional banks through the tie-up.
