MassMutual, a US insurance giant has recently <a href="https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20210811005111/en/MML-Investors-Services-Enters-Into-an-Agreement-With-NYDIG-to-Provide-Financial-Professionals-and-Investors-Access-to-Bitcoin-Fund" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">joined hands</a> with NYDIG to grant institutional investors access to a BTC fund. The partnership aims to enable institutional clients of the insurance company based in Massachusetts to get exposure to Bitcoin.
<h2>MassMutual Partnership with NYDIG Aims at Getting Exposure to Bitcoin</h2>
In accordance with the announcement made on August 11, the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company has officially entered into a ‘placement agent agreement’ with NYDIG.

The insurance company reportedly has plans to offer its qualified customers access to a Bitcoin fund, providing an alternative and efficient way to invest in the flagship cryptocurrency. 

The Head of Investments at MMLIS, Daken Vanderburg, released a statement regarding the exploration of the firm in the crypto space to integrate its benefits in the business of the firm and said:
<blockquote>“As MassMutual explores ways to integrate cryptocurrency into different areas of its business, MMLIS saw a growing demand from our financial professionals and their clients to gain bitcoin exposure.”</blockquote>
In addition to this, he said that this partnership is yet another step taken by the firm to include cryptocurrency in its product shelf with the aim of making sure that its financial professionals and clients are never out of tools that are required to continue to build widely diversified portfolios.
