After examining the smart contracts of DeFi Protocol Sushi Swap, it has been <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamScochran/status/1300887520172019713?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1300887520172019713%7Ctwgr%5E&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcointelegraph.com%2Fnews%2F27m-of-sushi-funds-could-disappear-at-the-drop-of-a-chef-s-hat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">found</a> that the admin wallet securing the native token worth around $27 million, could be emptied anytime without giving any warning. 

The analysis of SushiSwap’s admin wallet structure was done by Adam Cochran, the partner at Cinneamhain Ventures.
<h2>Adam Cochran Analysis of Sushi Swap’s Smart Contract </h2>
Notably from the past few days, SushiSwap has become a topic for discussion in the market because it has got a lot of traction and also the liquidity of billion dollars.

Recently, one of the Twitter users named Sasa (@cicnos1) disclosed about this admin wallet and tweeted, “The ‘deployer wallet’ has around $27 million worth of Sushi tokens which could be dumped on the SUSHI/ETH pool.”

Later, while tagging Sasa in his tweet, <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/adam-cochran-raises-questions-on-crypto-exchanges-practices/">Cochran</a> mentioned that initially, it appeared, the wallet, in which developer funds were being transferred, was locked by the governance vote or by the time lock.

However, after analyzing the smart contract of the DeFi Protocol, Cochran got to know that the tokens are secured in a generic wallet whose cryptographic keys are with SushiSwap administrator, popularly known as ‘Chef Nomi’ on Twitter.

Further in his analysis, Cochran suggested that there are chances SushiSwap’s investors get dumped without getting any warning.

Additionally, the fintech analyst stated that it does not appear to be unacceptable to take $27 million from a project which has very high value. 

Cochran notified that if Nomi actually announces this and takes 10 percent from the project, it would not affect the people much, in fact, they would be fine with it.

Although Chef has a cryptographic key of the wallet, still he did not touch it and that might be because he knew that the worth of the project is not more than $2 million. His gesture indicates that he is a bit skeptical regarding the increase in the price of the token. 

It is to be noted that on September 01 after hitting an all-time high, 30 percent of the tokens were pulled back.
