MyEtherWallet (MEW), a popular website and app for Ethereum (ETH), recently collaborated with Unstoppable Domains, provider of the decentralized domain, to resale the domain names ‘.crypto’ and become the first reseller of it.
There have been millions of monthly users of MEW and after this collaboration, they would be exposed to the blockchain domain names.
The domain names have been designed to facilitate payments related to crypto with readable addresses.
MEW To Help Users With Readable Addresses
It has been reported that now it would be not important for the user to use an inconvenient 35 alphanumeric address for the crypto wallet. In fact, the buyer of .crypto domain could now easily link the domain with their crypto wallet.
The domain permits the purchaser to a simple address like their name along with .crypto.
Most browsers do not allow any extension on their platform, but Opera Browser integrated with Unstoppable Domains to introduce an extension for Google Chrome on its platform.
The co-founder of Unstoppable Domains, Brad Kam, is very happy to collaborate with MEW and regarding it, he has said, “This integration shows that wallets are becoming much more than just places to store crypto. They are becoming portals to access blockchain products and services.”
Unstoppable Domains Made Maximum Transaction In One Day
The COO of MEW, Brian Norton, also feels lucky to work with Unstoppable Domains. He has mentioned that now its users could easily engage themselves with the decentralized web.
In December 2019, the decentralized domain provider started the registration for its .crypto domain and in just 24 hours it generated over 30,000 transactions.
Draper Associates and Boost VC are the supporters of this domain provider, and Ehtereum Foundation and Zilliqa Foundation are its fundraisers.
According to a report, Unstoppable Domain is registered more than 200,000 domains to date. The first domain extension of it was ‘.zil’ and more than 100,000 of this domain have been sold till date.
