Gala Music, a subsidiary of Web3 startup Gala Games, has teamed up with music producer Larry Dvoskin and publisher Warner Chappell Music to present David Bowie's 1983 track as part of a limited NFT collection. Released an unreleased version of the track "Let's Dance". </span>

Although he passed away in 2016 the singer-songwriter appears to have another unreleased song. Gala Music plans to release 3003 NFTs featuring Bowie-inspired artwork 40 years after Let's Dance was first released. An unreleased version of the song co-produced by Dvoskin and Bowie is available exclusively to every NFT owner. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The NFTs will be available for purchase on a "pay-what-you-wish" basis, and the initial proceeds from their sale will be donated to MusiCares, a charity that provides music industry workers with health and human services.</span>
<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bowie Estate ponders NFTs as it seeks to boost foundation reserves</span></h2>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Bowie Estate will not be the first to experiment with blockchain technology. The Bowie Estate teamed up with OpenSea marketplace to present an assortment of NFTs called "Bowie on the Blockchain," pointed toward raising foundation reserves. However, this collection received a lot of criticism from Bowie's fans because they thought the artist's foray into blockchain was against his principles and beliefs. Gala Games is primarily recognized for its Web3 gaming initiatives, allowing developers to create play-to-earn crypto and NFT games, but it has also expanded its interests to include music and film.</span>
