The iconic playboy party mansion will soon have a digital version, MetaMansion, launched in collaboration with Sandbox, the Ethereum-based metaverse platform.

Lifestyle brand Playboy has teamed up with NFT-based Metaverse gaming platform The Sandbox to launch the "MetaMansion." Under the partnership, Sandbox will offer gaming, social play, events, and digital collectibles that will come from Playboy's vast content library.

Interactive gameplay, original programming, NFT collectibles, and more, inspired by Playboy's 70-year rich history, which includes iconic events at the original mansion, archives, and art collection, will also be part of The MetaMansion.

Commenting on the development, Rachel Webber, chief brand and strategy officer at Playboy said:

<h2>Pivot to Web3</h2>
Playboy was one of the first major brands to enter the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/south-koreas-sk-telecom-to-build-its-first-web3-wallet/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Web3</a> market in April 2021 with its first NFT release, Liquid Summer. The entire NFT collection was sold out in less than three minutes.
<p data-ogsb="rgb(242, 247, 250)">Six months later, the company launched another NFT project, <a href="https://opensea.io/collection/playboyrabbitars" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Playboy Rabbitars</a>, which consists of 11,953 tokenized bunny avatars that went for around $800 apiece during launch. Hodlers of these NFTs will soon be able to access the exclusive experiences at the virtual mansion.</p>
