Pubic ETH Address of Vitalik Buterin Now Holds Over 333,500 Ethereum

The public ETH address of the Co-Funder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin now holds over 333,500 Ethereum, making him a crypto billionaire. The latest spike in the price of the second-largest cryptocurrency in the world has forced the total value of the ETH holdings of Buterinn above $1 billion.

Vitalik Buterin Holdings Now Over 333,500 Ethereum

In accordance with the data released by Etherescan, the public Ethereum address of crypto billionaire Vitalik Buterin now possesses over 333,520 ETH marking the total value of $1.05 billion. The total net worth of Vitalik witnessed a surge notably this year following the rise of over 30% in the price of the cryptocurrency.

Surging to a record high price of $3,200, Ethereum jumped over 10% within a day crossing the market capitalization of $350 billion and became even more valuable than the Bank of America.

In addition to this, the Ethereum giants, or rather say whales have escalated their transfer activities amid the latest surge in the price of ETH.

Most recently, a transfer of 16,323 ETH was highlighted which is worth more than $50 million today from crypto exchange Binance to a digital wallet which is not known.

It should be noted that the transaction mentioned above was recorded at 7:53 UTC, on Etherscan.

Buterin on the Increasing Scalability of Ethereum

Buterin has always remained vocal regarding his views on Bitcoin, ETH, and other crypto assets. Earlier this year, Vitalik Buterin said that the upcoming network update of Ethereum will be improving the scalability of Ethereum.

Moreover, he warned about the security of crypto wallets at the Latin American Bitcoin Conference in December 2020 and revealed that the digital wallets as of now, are not ready for mass adoption.

During the conversation, he said:

“In my opinion, we don’t talk about the security issues in the crypto market enough because no one is willing to admit they lost $200,000, because if you admit you lost $200,000, you look like an idiot.”
