Luca Netz will be the new leader of the Pudgy Penguins NFT collection along with his collaborator Cameron Moulène and several other stakeholders. Control of the project will allow the group to launch a token, and conduct airdrops as well as other rights.

The deal comes just a few months after the project voted that their founding team be removed from the project. Since then, holders had been waiting on the project’s uncertain future.
<h2><strong>Will there be a Pengu Token?</strong></h2>
Following the news, Pudgy Penguin trading spiked on OpenSea NFT marketplace. The floor price of a Pudgy Penguin jumped as high as 2.5 ETH after trading between 0.7 and 1.4 ETH the past few weeks. At the time of writing, the current floor price of the NFT collection stands at 2.98 ETH.

Rumors also circulated that the long-awaited Pudgy Penguins token would also be announced, further fueling the buying frenzy. Such a move would follow in the footsteps of Bored Ape Yacht Club, which launched its ApeCoin token earlier this month.
