From the very beginning HEX project has been in the spotlights but only for the wrong things. HEX is not the first to adopt these tactics as there were projects before. It is believed that the movement of funds is done to keep the HEX token price afloat after it was struggling to keep its price floating. The project and its founder Richard Heart have been surrounded by numerous allegations since day one, and nothing has changed till now as it continues to be in the bad spotlight. There are still plenty of speculations regarding why would anyone invest money into the project. 

In the initial days, many investors contributed funds into the venture hoping to make a healthy profit through the token. However, it is still uncertain if anyone successfully managed to get profit from the token and with the increasing allegations day by day, people are only losing hope.

Even the HEX terms of service did not favour<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/a-new-ethereum-alliance-made-to-develop-trust-in-the-ecosystem/"> Ethereum users</a> which stated that those investors are not guaranteed to get their deposit back. Many of the users failed to read that fine term until it was too late. Another elaborated distributed scheme came into light through an infographic which made the HEX platform appear to be a pyramid scheme.

The downside of using<a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/crypto/uzbekistan-to-create-national-mining-pool/"> public blockchain</a> such as Ethereum is that any transactions and treacherous activities associated with it could be sniffed out by anyone in a few hours given it is a public ledger.
