Samsung US Launches New Discord Server
According to a statement released Tuesday, Samsung’s US arm has created a new Discord server in an effort to develop a tighter connection with its customers and followers as part of its plan to dig further into Web3.
"The Samsung US Discord server is specially designed as a fun, interactive way for fans, gamers, and creators to interact and get exclusive access to products, events, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and other Web 3-based wonders," Samsung said in a press release.
For the first 24 hours of June 7, early adopters of the Samsung US Discord server will get OG role access. From June 7 to 10, all followers will be randomly picked for daily product giveaways in increments of 8, 3, and 7, and what will happen after that is a mystery. At the time of writing, the server had already attracted over 30,000 members.
Samsung has already cemented its name in the metaverse with the Samsung 837x, Decentraland, and Samsung Galaxy on Roblox, which is slated to host a virtual concert later this month. The virtual store of its flagship 837 physical store is in Decentraland while the physical store is located at 837 Washington Street in New York City's Meatpacking District, Manhattan.
