The world’s leading institutional crypto mining company, Genesis Mining has released new findings of its latest study titled <a href="https://lp.genesis-mining.com/bitcoin-investor-predictions-2020/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Bitcoin Investor Predictions 2020</a>. The survey was conducted based on one thousand current and former U.S. Bitcoin investors. The findings showed that only 17% of investors believe Bitcoin will be worth more than $50,000 BTC by 2030. While 3.5% of respondents say that the price of Bitcoin can reach $500,000 by 2030.

The survey also showed strong support that Bitcoin will be better as a <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/devere-group-ceo-predicts-bitcoin-as-top-safe-haven-over-gold/">store of value</a>. Two-thirds of the respondents even confirmed that Bitcoin will be a better long-term hold than the US dollar.

Meanwhile, half of the respondents estimated that Bitcoin will replace traditional safe-haven like that of gold and real estate within the next ten years. The overall findings showed that only one-tenth of the respondents see Bitcoin will be worth <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/bitcoin-price-might-reach-170000-by-2022-bloomberg-analyst/">six-figures by 2030</a>.

Meanwhile, one-sixth of respondents said that they can't speculate on the long-term price performance of the cryptocurrency.

One-third of the respondents even believed that the price of the world’s largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization will be less than $10,000 or less.  The findings showed that overall the respondents did not believe Bitcoin can grow another by 160% in the next decade.
<h2><strong>Respondents Also Believed Bitcoin Might Be Uprooted by CBDC</strong></h2>
Nearly one-fifth of the respondents also expect Bitcoin’s dominance might be uprooted by <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/cz-binance-believes-cbdc-might-threaten-bitcoin-in-long-run/">central bank digital currency</a> (CBDC).

While a quarter of the respondents sees that the adoption of Bitcoin will be driven by the lack of trust in fiat currencies and central bank monetary policy and during the period of economic downturns.

The survey included various investors with one quarter allocating more than half their wealth to virtual currency investments. Another one quarter had crypto exposures between 10% to 50%, with another quarter having investments between 1% and 10% in crypto. While the rest had 1% or less of their wealth in virtual currency.
