The official list of titles of Elon Musk, CEO of the electric car-making company, is updated with a “Technoking of Tesla,” in a regulatory filing. The filing also named Finance Chief Zachary Kirkhorn as “Master of Coin.”

However, the reasons for choosing cryptic titles are vague. Also, no explanation has been given from their side yet.

TechnoKing of Tesla as NFT

Musk shared a brand new electronic music track about a non-fungible token (NFT). NFTs are a new type of digital assets authenticated by blockchain.

He tweeted,

“I’m selling this song about NFTs as an NFT.”

Revealing the purchase of $1.5 billion of Bitcoin last month, and soon going to accept them as a form of payment for cars, sets the world’s most popular crypto soaring. Hitting the milestone of making $25 billion in a day, Tesla Inc.’s jump 20%, pushing the founder’s fortune to $174 billion.

According to analyst Dan Ives,

“Based on our calculations, we estimate that Tesla so far has made roughly $1 billion of profit over the last month to put this in perspective, Tesla is on a trajectory to make more from its Bitcoin investments than profits from selling its (electric vehicle) cars in all of 2020."

Popularity of NFTs

The acceptance of NFTs has increased during 2020. It is seen that enthusiasts and investors are eager to spend enormous sums of money on items that have virtual existence. No less than a month ago, the musicians and artist Grimes sold some of the animations that she made on a Nifty Gateway. The animations sold worth more than $6 million.

As Tesla prepares to enter the critical heavy-trucks market for the first time, Mr. Guillen will now leverage his extensive background in this industry to focus on and lead all aspects of the Tesla Semi program, including the related charging and servicing networks,” the company said.
