Managing Partner and the Head of Research at Fundstrat, Tom Lee, has made a bold prediction and it is one that might see Bitcoin prices skyrocket to new highs soon. His prediction is being backed by<a href="https://www.ccn.com/tom-lee-bitcoin-fomo-price"> data from Fundstrat</a> which at the moment shows that Bitcoin has already hit level 5 FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) and is soon to hit level 10 (full-blown).

According to a chart by the researcher, FOMO began at a baby stage (level 1) which was around $6,950, it later proceeded to medium (level 5) at around $8,350 and is currently headed for full-blown at level 10. Further explaining his chart, Lee stated:

<em>"Actually the point of the chart is to say “real FOMO” probably starts when bitcoin exceeds $10,000, as that is a price level only seen 3% of all days… …Mathematically equivalent to exceeding $BTC $4,500 in 2017. Looking back, that price was a level that indeed triggered FOMO."</em>

<h3>Will The 2017 Miracle Repeat Itself</h3>
Notably, even in 2017 when Bitcoin recorded magical numbers, the $10K position seemed to be a major trigger. After hitting this position, the asset quickly rose to its all-time high with FOMO playing a huge role.

Other analysts agree with Tom Lee further believing that media hype will play an important role. Already, Bitcoin is enjoying a substantial level of hype. As we reported, a few weeks ago, Bitcoin was a point of discussion on CBS's 60 Minutes. As prices climb above $10K, its come back narrative will be picked u by media and hype will drive prices up.

at the time of press, Bitcoin is still struggling to go above $9,000. Despite the difficulty involved in getting over the position, some analysts believe this position will be easy to get past and hit the coveted $10K position. The bulls need to make a strong push for this position and from there, if the recent predictions are right, the rest will be a free flow to new highs.
