Travala.com Partners With Binance Chain To Use Decentralised Services

August 22, 2020      Jyoti Singh

Crypto travel agency Travala.com signs an agreement with Binance Chain to use its decentralized services.

The travel agency would be using the services of Binance Chain to introduce new decentralized platforms for review, accommodation booking, referral system and salesforce.

Recently, the CEO of Travala.com Juan Otero has stated, “Under this decentralized model, accommodation seekers will be able to book stays without the need for an intermediary.”

Otero has further notified that the technology offered by the Travala.com would help the users in facilitating the booking.

Travala.com To Start Working On Decentralized Review Service

In its announcement, the Travala.com has stated that soon after introducing a decentralized accommodation booking system, the crypto travel agency would start working on its decentralized review service.

The decentralized review service would store all the submitted reviews in on-chain so that it could neither be removed from the platform nor could be edited by anyone.

Otero has specified that they would also be introducing tokenized incentives for the review, as it would prevent them from getting fake reviews. He has stated that the travel agency would be offering the tokenized incentives only to those customers who have used the platform for booking the location and actually have been there.

Travla.com To Move Its All Aspects On-Chain

Otero is still not sure about how much of the Travala.com business could be shifted to on-chain. He asserted that they have been planning to move all the aspects of Travala.com on-chain for the long-run, however, he also feels that it is practically impossible.

As per the reports, a few days ago, Travala.com collaborated with booking giant Agoda to integrate more than 600.000 hotels.

In July 2020, Travala.com also partnered with Expedia and integrated more than 700,000 accommodation to its platform. Soon the travel agency noticed a 68 percent hike in its booking.
