Bitcoin continues to be the talk of the town and it was seen being discussed in the Wall Street drama show Billions. It was not the first time that that the Billions show has mentioned cryptocurrencies, however, it is mostly in bad light loaded with negativity. Even if it is used as a bad example it definitely gives Bitcoin adoption mainstream attention even more and more.

The show is about a fight between a US Attorney and a billionaire and the fifth season of Billions mentions bitcoin in bad light which would definitely strike a chord with a king currency naysayers. The US Attorney which is portrayed by Chuck Rhodes took a dig and stated that bitcoin carries no intrinsic value and is backed by nothing.

On being interrogated the characters laughs out at the whole process of bitcoin, stating that it is worth millions but it is backed by nothing. When further quizzed about the position of the US dollar, yeah was all praise for it and highlighted its qualities.
<h2>CZ Optimist Enough to Find The Good in it</h2>
Interestingly, this caught the attention of the CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao who tweeted about it, sharing the excerpt. However, CZ didn't appear enraged and just used the hashtag of bitcoin adoption regarding the Billions series. More often than not the references pop up in scenes of money laundering and other illegal activities.

The references for many do more good than harm as it is a sign of bitcoin adoption and what's interesting is that it could be done even on purpose to draw more attention to the show, as the author of bitcoin billionaires works as a consulting producer of the show.
