Changpeng Zhao Continues His Crypto Bickering on Twitter
Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, has a habit of making controversial statements and even during times like this he has been speaking a bunch of gibberish. He is found advising people on twitter that since there's an infinite amount of money around the corner, people should utilize it to buy cryptocurrencies.
He has been labelled irresponsible after his outlandish advice in turbulent times like these when the world is failing to fight the novel coronavirus.
Although Changpeng Zhao subtly mentioned in the end that this, by no means is a piece of financial advice, it clearly sounded like one especially given the fact that the new tweet comes attached to a previous one where he is seen offering cryptocurrencies purchases with Visa and various fiat currencies.
With infinite amount of money around the corner, might as well. ???(not financial advice) https://t.co/pCZ1Z9aoGn — CZ Binance ??? (@cz_binance) March 25, 2020
People didn't really hold back and lashed out at the binance CEO. They found Changpeng Zhao attempts to promote his platforms in times like these as outrageous. When people lives are at stake, comments like this are a sad divorce from reality.
While people do cut Changpeng Zhao a lot of slack, at times, he makes it impossible with his careless comments, some with a tinge of humour and some downright ridiculous. At times he has been caught promoting binance coin (BNB) and trying to pump it through news which lacked credibility. His trading advice is often more of an endorsement rather than a concern.
Changpeng Zhao And Justin Sun a Bad CombinationWhile the cryptocurrency could still tolerate this, when he starts teaming up with another controversial crypto drivel in the form of Justin Sun, the situation gets more heightened. The crypto community is absolute against the idea of regulations making their way in their world as they think this would eat away the fabric of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin etc. and dent their freedom. Changpeng Zhao was seen advocating the involvement of regulations, and he cited fake news circling around the crypto space as the reason behind it. The comment left the community bemused and he faced their wrath online.
