In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, serious lockdowns have been imposed on different parts of the world. During this time, it is only media sources through which people are getting daily updates so there is a need for proper media coverage and clearing all the rumours regarding this. Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, IOHK has struck towards the whole media personnel. He has highly criticized the manner in which the media is covering this sensitive matter and also accused them of carrying forward propaganda.
<h2>Hoskinson accused mainstream media platforms of creating negative images</h2>
Hoskinson believes that top media portals including NBC News, The Guardian, BBC and many others are trying to portray a negative image of the people who do not support the lockdown. He has targeted a news article by NBC News which covers the mass riots of Michigan. On April 30, an armed crowd entered the Michigan Capitol where the debate was going on between the legislators regarding the measures that needed to be taken to control coronavirus.

All the mainstream media portals have covered this mass protest along with the image of people who are attacking the police. According to Hoskinson, this kind of media coverage clearly determines a propaganda style by these news portals.

<h2>Michigan protestors demand to finish the lockdown </h2>
All those people who were protesting inside the Michigan Capitol were demanding the parliament to end the lockdown. A complete lockdown has been imposed across the state till May 15, 2020, in order to control the spread of virus. However, protestors clearly deny obeying these orders to stay at home.
