Nervos, China's leading blockchain company, <a href="https://twitter.com/knwang/status/1394844971270819847" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">announced </a>today the launch of a $50 million fund with CMB International (CMBI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Merchants Bank. The new fund, called InNervation, will make early and growth-stage investments in companies developing user-facing blockchain-based products.

Decentralized applications (dApps), decentralized finance (Defi) protocols, distributed ledger networks, non-fungible token (NFT) marketplaces, and other technologies will be the target of InNervation's investments.

CMBI has been investigating the usage of decentralized technologies with Nervos as an early adopter of blockchain <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/nervos-network-grants-1-million-to-third-party-developers/">technology since 2019.</a> Nervos was an early supporter of CMBI as well. The new collaboration between CMBI and Nervos aims to expand the blockchain ecosystem through strategic investments.
