Cryptocurrency platform Coinbase is producing a trilogy film series featuring characters from the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection.
<h2><strong>Bored Apes Goes Hollywood With Coinbase</strong></h2>
On Monday, Coinbase Global Inc announced that it had partnered with Bored Ape creators Yuga Labs to make a three-part animated movie series titled “The Degen Trilogy.” After the initial release, users will need a Coinbase wallet and connect it with the exchange’s site before they can watch the movie.

The first part of the trilogy is set to premiere at NFT.NYC in June 2021. The movies will reportedly feature NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, and other collections from the Bored Ape series.
<h2><strong>Casting Open for BAYC Characters</strong></h2>
Bored Ape holders are invited to submit their apes for casting by connecting their Coinbase Wallet to a website dedicated to the casting process.

The Bored Apes submitted will reportedly be reviewed by a Hollywood casting director. After the movies are released, only users with a Coinbase Wallet will be able to view them. Coinbase advised users to “hide an easter egg” in their submissions to better their chances of being selected.<strong> </strong>

The Mutant Ape Yacht Club will similarly be able to submit their apes for part two of the series, according to the official NFT collection. However, submissions will not be open to the Bored Ape Kennel Club.
