Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwon has amended his proposal to revive the Terra blockchain which includes forking the chain into Terra Classic (LUNC) and Terra (LUNA) chains. The changes were made while the proposal was being voted upon.

After the demise of Terra’s UST stablecoin, Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwon came up with a plan to revive the blockchain network in which he proposed creating Luna (LUNA) 2.0 tokens on a new blockchain.

It now appears that he amended the proposal despite the fact the original plan is currently going through an on-chain vote. While the revival plan still stands, Kwon <a href="https://agora.terra.money/t/terra-ecosystem-revival-plan-2-amended/18498" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated</a> he edited a few distribution parameters “to accommodate community feedback.”

The first change reduces the distribution of LUNA 2.0 tokens to UST holders who had their tokens staked on Anchor when the depeg occurred. Their distribution share was reduced from 20% to 15%. The 5% adjusted will go to the community pool.

The second amendment increases the initial float from 15% to 30%, thus increasing the initial token float.

The changes mid-vote elicited mixed emotions from the Terra Community who was unhappy with the process.

At the time of writing, there are still five days of voting left, with 50% (185.264 million) of the potential votes cast. Of this amount, a large majority of votes (80%) are in favor of it, with only 15% that are opposed to it with a veto.
