Blockchain gaming platform Gala Games and Epic Games have announced a partnership to publish Gala’s tiles on the Epic Games Store.

Gala Games has launched GRIT, its blockchain game on the Epic Games Store. With this, GRIT becomes the first <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/azra-games-raises-15-million-for-nft-based-play-and-earn-rpg/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NFT-based game</a> to be released on the Epic Games Store, becoming available to the marketplace’s more than 194 million users.

The free-to-play online multiplayer game for Windows PC players will feature user-owned NFT assets that can be purchased, resold, and utilized within the game. Gala will release 10,000 player avatars for GRIT via a "Gunslinger's Box" sale, which begins this week at the publisher's Galaverse event in Malta.

According to the announcement <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/galas-web3-game-grit-now-easily-accessible-to-epic-games-stores-194m-players-301561780.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">release</a>, GRIT won't be the company's only game to launch on the Epic Games Store.
