The Polokwane Hawks are <a href="https://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/hawks-investigate-cryptocurrency-ceo-after-investors-cry-foul-20200507" target="_blank" rel="noopener">investing </a>the CEO of VaultAge Solutions, Willie Breedt as a few investors have accused him of fraudulent activities. The company was formed in 2018 and takes money from investors and trade in bitcoin. A spokesperson from the firm has announced that their CEO is being investigated about any wrongdoings.

After trading was done and the proof of payment was made, the numbers were exaggerated to fool the investors. An investor from Limpopo has stated that his proof of payment sent by Willie Breedt read R141, 500 when in reality he only received R1 415 in his account. He also said the proof of payment was only sent after he threatened to take legal action against the CEO.

Another similar case where the numbers reflected in the account were way less than the Proof of pay.

<h2>Willie Breedt Pleads Innocent</h2>
Many other investors have come forward and provided the Hawks with an affidavit and other legal documents that can be used against the CEO. On being contacted, Willie Breedt categorically denied any wrongdoing but stated that he is aware of what is going on against him.

While some at least received some of their money back, there have been cases where not a single penny has been given deposited in the bank account.  Some have paid as much as $2 million and are yet to receive any returns or even the amount they've put in even after multiple requests made to the CEO.

On 29th April, he sent an email to 168 people that they would receive the payment in 2 3 days, but most received nothing at all and a few got a meek 5%.

Willie Breedt had defended himself by claiming that the charges are false and it is the crypto payment system which is erratic and is causing all sorts of issues.
