A user known as "@toxicbitcoinmaxi" placed some extremely expensive bids. The Pleasrdao project, on the other hand, got part in the collecting bidding war and built a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) named the "Free Ross DAO," according to the newspaper.

The NFT collection was a compilation of Ross Ulbricht's essays and 10 artworks, as well as an animation created by NFT artist Levitate. Ulbricht also provided the animated work's voice-over.
