Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse joins the recent claims by <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/cftc-adds-34-crypto-entities-to-its-registration-deficient-red-list/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CFTC</a> Commissioner Pham that the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) prefers to take its regulatory approach from the dark.

Garlinghouse, in fact, described the comments made by Commissioner Pham as powerful:

Recently, Commissioner Pham expressed concerns about the implications of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing the first crypto insider case.

She also took issue with the SEC labeling certain crypto assets as securities, calling it an example of "regulation by enforcement" rather than addressing it "through a transparent process that engages the public to develop appropriate policy with expert input."
