A <a href="https://www.change.org/p/robinhood-convince-robinhood-they-will-prosper-if-they-list-shiba-inu-coin" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">petition </a>requesting that Robinhood list Shiba Inu Coin (SHIB) on its platform has gathered 300k signatures, as pressure mounts on the exchange to accept new cryptocurrencies.
<h2>Shiba Inu Acquire 300k Signatures on Robinhood Petition</h2>
According to CoinGecko statistics, the SHIB coin has <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/shiba-inu-price-rally-is-this-the-right-time-to-invest-in-this-meme-coin/">increased</a> 13% in the last 24 hours. 

It is now the 11th-largest cryptocurrency, with a market cap of about $24 billion.

Several cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin, are presently supported by Robinhood.

A petition on Change.org requesting that Robinhood add Shiba Inu, a Dogecoin-inspired parody cryptocurrency, currently has over 326,000 signatures. 

During the business's earnings conference on Tuesday, Robinhood Chief Executive Officer Vlad Tenev stated that the company is "carefully" exploring adding additional coins to its <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/meme-cryptocurrency-shiba-inu-to-gets-listed-on-robinhood-competitor-public-com/">platform</a>.
“We feel very very good about the coins that we’re currently listing on our platform and any new coins that we add we want to feel equal, if not more good,” Tenev stated.

<h2>The Petition’s Next Goal Is To Collect 50,000 Signatures</h2>
A prospective listing on Robinhood would expose SHIB to the 22 million users of the site.

While the petition claims that it will allow more individuals to purchase SHIB, the focus of its signatories and the larger SHIB community is on the projected price increase (and their holdings). 

SHIB is already available on a variety of cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Coinbase Pro, and Crypto.com.

The popularity of the petition has generated plenty of copycat SHIB-based Change.org petitions. Several petitions contain tens of thousands of signatures urging Tesla, Amazon, and GameStop to accept Shiba Inu.

However, the petition will not achieve the ‘Victory’ symbol unless Robinhood lists SHIB.

During CNBC's Disruptor 50 Summit, Jim Cramer <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2021/10/21/cnbc-transcript-robinhood-co-founder-and-ceo-vlad-tenev-speaks-with-cnbcs-jim-cramer-live-during-the-cnbc-disruptor-50-summit-today.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">inquired </a>about a prospective SHIB IPO with Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev. He stated:
“I think it goes back to safety first, right. So we’re not generally going to be the first to add any new asset. We want to make sure that it goes through a stringent set of criteria.”
Crypto has become increasingly important to the expansion of Robinhood. The brokerage said last month that it will begin offering crypto wallets, a technology that allows investors to transfer and receive digital currency. 

The corporation previously stated that the queue for that product had surpassed 1 million users. 

According to its most recent report, Dogecoin accounted for 64% of its crypto earnings.
