Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has revealed his ambitions for improving Twitter if his attempt to purchase the social media behemoth is successful.

Musk consented to a Friday tweet in which he stated that he will concentrate on "serious challenges." Twitter's algorithm should be open source, scam bots should be eliminated, the free expression should be respected, and the account verification procedure should be simplified, according to the tweet. Spam bots are a serious problem on Twitter. Tesla CEO Elon Musk claimed earlier this month that crypto spam bots are the "single most aggravating problem on Twitter."

Musk tweeted Thursday:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk bought a 9.2% stake in Twitter Inc. earlier this month. He was planning to join the board of directors of Twitter, promising to make "major improvements," but he eventually opted not to.

According to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Musk then offered to buy 100% of Twitter for $54.20 per share in cash (SEC). Twitter, on the other hand, responded by implementing a "poison pill" shareholder rights plan with a limited term. Musk announced this week that he had secured $46.5 billion to fund his attempt to buy Twitter and take it private.
