It seems Telegram has had a change of heart aa the US bases company has retracted from the <a href="https://smart-lab.ru/blog/618122.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener">proposal </a>it made just last week. Its TON project keeps getting delayed and after the previous two failures in last October and April this year, it is hoping third time's the charm and it successfully gets launched in April next year. The gram token launch keeps getting harder and harder.

However, the company has now changed its plans for its US investors and categorically stated that they've updated their agreement and now is asking US investors to take their 72% investment back and bid adios. Gram Tokens project makers also clarified that the US investors are not eligible for the 110% investment return promised last week.

The company has stated that their TON project continues to be surrounded by an air of ambiguity when it comes to the regulatory bodies, and after holding various discussions with relevant authorities, they've decided it is in the best interest of everyone involved that the US investors back out. The <a href="https://thebell.io/durov-ne-razreshil-amerikanskim-investoram-zhdat-zapuska-ton-eshhe-god/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">letter </a>on Monday also quashes the claims of last week that the investors would be paid in grams token.
<h2>No Payment in Gram Tokens Even For Non-US Investors</h2>
The loan offer made for non-US investors is still on, but even they would not receive payment in its native gram tokens. Now with questions raised over the cryptocurrency, it would be interesting to see if the company will continue with developing the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/former-blockchain-analyst-at-dfnity-to-launch-liquity/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Blockchain</a> or not.

The offer made last week was received well by the investors of grams token but now with this new twist, it remains to be seen what the future holds for the TON project.  The company was looking to raise funds by selling equities and was certain a willing investor to pay off the amount would come along.

With every passing day, the SEC continues to emerge as the winner in this battle with the Telegram, as the company can't seem to sort their head out and decide what their ambitions are in future.
