In a Series A investment headed by cryptocurrency-focused venture capital company <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/polychain-backed-dfx-finance-hacked-for-7-5-million">Polychain</a> Capital, Web 3 developer network Fleek has <a href="https://blog.fleek.co/posts/introducing-fleek-network-and-fleek-xyz" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">secured</a> $25 million. The money will hasten the creation and introduction of Fleek Network, a decentralized content and application distribution network that will debut in the spring or summer of 2023.

Developers or projects requiring a CDN can contribute material to the Fleek Network on the user side. The web 3 developer network uses a decentralized node network to speed that material. According to Hines, consumers pay in native FLK tokens up front for the bandwidth.
