Gateway to Cosmos will be held in Prague on the 16th and 17th of May and will be the largest Cosmos-dedicated in-person event since the November 2021 Cosmoverse in Lisbon.
Leaders from the blockchain industry, including key ecosystem speakers from Cosmos, Interchain, Informal, Agoric, Axelar, Evmos, Celestia, Sommelier, CosmWasm, and Quicksilver will dive into pertinent topics such as Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), shared security, Run Protocol, EVM compatibility, liquid staking, and cross-chain bridges. Attendees of this community event will have the opportunity to meet Dean Tribble, CEO at Agoric; Zaki Manian, Co-Founder at Sommelier Protocol; Sergey Gorbunov, Co-Founder and Engineer at Axelar; Billy Rennekamp, Cosmos Hub Lead; and Federico Kunze Küllmer, Co-Founder and CEO at Tharsis, among many others yet be announced soon. Developers in attendance can also spend some quality time coding in the hacker’s lounge, which will be separate from the main stage and foyer.
This two-day hackathon consists of many exclusive small bounties that will be presented on the website for the duration of the conference. Collecting these small and easy bounties is a strong opportunity to gain invaluable coding experience while being guided by projects at the forefront of the industry including Agoric, Axelar and RBF Labs. experienced hackers and bounty collectors can leverage the time by attending ‘Office Hours’ with Agoric and Axelar, gaining powerful insight into collecting larger, more professional bounties. Dean Tribble and Sergey Gorbunov will be on hand to provide valuable project feedback and in turn, guide your project in the right direction.
