In order to broaden its zero-fee service beyond simply bitcoin (BTC), Binance.US <a href="https://blog.binance.us/zero-fee-eth/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">announced</a> Tuesday that it would eliminate trading costs for <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/the-ethereum-foundation-begins-shutdown-of-ropsten-testnet">Ether (ETH)</a>. The spot market pairs ETH/USD, ETH/USDT, ETH/USDC, and ETH/BUSD will all be eligible for free trading. According to the exchange, users who pay their trading costs using BNB tokens will also receive further savings on their trading expenses.
<h2>Binance.US Eliminated Ethereum Trading Costs</h2>
The exchange, a division of the biggest cryptocurrency exchange by volume, eliminated bitcoin trading costs in June to try to draw in more customers. This made it the first U.S. cryptocurrency exchange platform to do so. At the time, it promised that it will eventually do the same for additional tokens.

Brian Shroder, CEO and president of <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/ex-fbi-agent-to-head-binance-us-head-of-investigations-unit">Binance.US</a>, said in a news release that by removing fees on <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/is-bitcoin-btc-the-new-gold-au-which-one-should-you-purchase">BTC</a> and now ETH, the exchange is increasing awareness for the excessive trading costs users are paying on other platforms, and working to rebuild trust in the wider ecosystem.
<h2>Centralized Exchanges to Drive Digital-Assets</h2>
JPMorgan stated last month that centralized exchanges would continue to drive digital-asset trading volumes in the aftermath of the <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/ftx-employs-forensics-teams-to-track-down-clients-lost-billions">FTX</a> crash and negative attitudes in the cryptocurrency sector.

This week, Binance.US also announced American Samoa and Guam, two new U.S. territories. Additionally, it obtained its Money Transmitter Licenses (MTL) in Louisiana, increasing the total number of secured MLTs in the United States to 43.
