Bitstamp – one of the major crypto exchanges has registered the Shiba Inu meme coin. Bitstamp users can now trade SHIB abutting the U.S. dollar and the Euro. The statement flashed live when many trading platforms listed, "Shiba Inu is accepting the meme crypto as payments."
<h2>Bitstamp Registers and Encourages Shiba Inu Crypto</h2>
On Wednesday, Cryptocurrency exchange - Bitstamp announced, "We're adding support for four more cryptocurrencies, which counts in commercial meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB)."

Apart from SHIB, dydx (DYDX), gala (GALA), and perpetual protocol (PERP) are the cryptocurrencies added to the Bitstamp platform. <a href="https://gadgets.ndtv.com/cryptocurrency/news/crypto-exchange-bitstamp-lists-shiba-inu-as-trading-option-2643558" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Users</a> will be able to trade them against the U.S. dollar or the Euro.

On Wednesday, the London-headquartered exchange initiated installments and withdrawals for Shiba Inu. Users "will be able to place and cancel limit orders", claimed Bitstamp on Thursday. It further added, "Order matching will originate &amp; trades will be discharged normally on the same day."

The exchange further clarified, "Once the order books assemble ample liquidity, we'll authorize all order types and card purchases for the new trading pairs."

Having said that, Bitstamp illustrated, "Provincially, these assets won't be available to our U.S. and Singapore customers."
<h2>As an Alternative Payment Method </h2>
On Tuesday, Travala – the crypto travel site reported, "We've included SHIB as a payment method. This will let the users purchase over 3 million travel products with the meme crypto."

Newegg recently reported, "We'll soon accept SHIB for payments on our platform, most probably by this month." <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/amc-theatres-reveals-when-shiba-inu-will-be-accepted-as-a-payment-method/">AMC Theaters</a> said, "We'll start accepting Shiba Inu in the first quarter." 

In November, two vast crypto exchanges namely Kraken and Gemini showed their support for SHIB. Meme crypto's supporters had requested on Change.org for the popular trading platform <a href="https://www.cryptoknowmics.com/news/robinhoods-stock-has-dropped-70-since-its-august-high/">Robinhood</a> to list SHIB.
