Peter Schiff, probably the biggest bitcoin critic out there is insisting bitcoin owners sell their coin, after seeing it rallying at just 3% this week. Peter Schiff opines that given the chaos gripping every market and the volatility they are experiencing, Bitcoin should have made more of the current situation.

Bitcoin stabilized itself and reclaimed $8,800 since the weekend, but he insists that the BTC/USD won't go up so selling right now would be a smart decision. He added:

<h2>Bitcoin Community Hits Back at Peter Schiff</h2>
The bitcoin community was quick to shut Schiff down and highlighted that Bitcoin had delivered unimaginable gain since its inception. Bitcoin's Twitter account jumped into the discussion and tweeted

People ridiculed Peter Schiff for knowing about bitcoin since 2011 and still choosing to be dumb enough to say it will crash now. They also threw light on the fact that Bitcoin went from 1$ in 2011 to $8,800 at present, while gold showed no progress.

Peter Schiff continues to make headlines and more often than not keep assaulting bitcoin.  A few weeks ago he enunciated that he is still not convinced that Bitcoin can one day be a safe-haven and called Bitcoin investors as *suckers*.

All this while his beloved gold has been smacked heavily by coronavirus outbreak and is experiencing one of its worst periods since 2013. The precious metal showed some subtle improvement only after the Federal Reserve of the United States on Tuesday, enacted an emergency 0.5% rate cut, first of its kind after the 2008 financial crisis.
